Two years...

Two years since I used blogspot... lot has happened. I'm on the final stretch of finishing my degrees in political science and computer science. I'm also trying to get into grad school.

One of my friends of 15 years is engaged... long story short, wanted to date her... but well, win some lose some. Been trying to look around some, always get my face smaked in the mud in various ways. What I have learned? Girls that have had previous mistakes are attracted to me for some odd reason. It sometimes gets annoying. Had one family member that made some mistakes... big ones in this area. 'Tis been my guide post of what not to look for... including my past attempts.

I'm one of the few that ask advice from my parents in this area, and their opinion... they are wiser than me. Better learn from someones else's mistakes and wisdom than repeat history in ones own unique way and drown in the mud. God will eventually set things up in his timing... (Yes. I'm a Christian.)

One of the things I dislike is people smoking around me, or in my vehicle or where I live. My family has medium to severe acute asthma attacks when it comes to cigarette smoke, and I start coughing. I have heard stories of it from my mom that the aunt that raised her took a drag... face went blue then got a breath then took another one... and she died of lung cancer. No thanks, and besides the smell stinks. Also, I don't drink because I have alcoholism on both sides of my family... enough said.

I have a few friends and one late relative that is/was (legally) deaf, but I, myself, am not deaf or hard of hearing. I've visited a deaf chapel when I was on my internship in the northeast US. I was fortunate to have a now acquaintance at the chapel tutor me in ASL when I was up there. I kind of put learning ASL on pause because of the mountain of college related stuff that is piling over my head.

On politics, I am supporting McCain because he has previous experience, knows what it is like to be a solider, and his economic policies. Obama on the other hand... my response to his economic policies are that raising taxes and protectionism is what helped turned the Great Depression into is now famous name sake. That, and I do not like his stance on abortion and embryonic stemcell research.

I have a coauthor now that I'm writing my now... hum... saga with... (yes... it grew exponentially). That saga is now put on hold as I tackle the mountain of college work in front of my eyes.

One more month of this semester... then one more semester... (then grad school?)

I have now five pieces of art in queue, the piece is a new character for my literary project. Hopefully, I will get these done.

Well I have a full time summer job now, university grounds keeping. It is not that hard, just hot at times. I'm almost done with the line are for invader-ace's Sally. Hopefully I will get more drawing and writing done. There should be another update soon. ;)

I have one heck of a full schedual now. I part time job that is about 17 to 20+ hours a week, 5 college classes and one lab, paperwork, looking for temporary summer job, and an apartment that is not on campus. On top of that, I need to seriously get over procrastination. In addition to that, all my fiction writing as been put on suspention. I also added a Spanish minor to my double major (Political Science/Computer Science). Not to mention the truck load of tests and papers comming up. Oh, what have I gotten myself into? :O_o: The study abroad trip collapsed because of finances. :( I am still planning of going--hopefully soon. My friend, XUnlimited: has resently joined dA. He is an author too; but if you want to read his stuff, you got to know how to read Spanish. ;) I hope that I can post some art work here soon, but it will be about one month before I can because of the packed schedual. Lately I have been keeping up with the U.S. imigration debate and the U.S.-Iran issue. The world is one heck of a crazy place. I am at conflect with myself over what should be done with the whole illegal imigration/amnesty/U.S.-Mexico border issue. I have come to this conclusion: almost no one is going to be satisfied with the resolution or the lack thereof of this issue. :/ Oh, on the Iran issue. I think the US may exit out of Iraq through Iran..... On a more bland note--if you put real numbers on the X axis, imaginary numbers on the y axis, what other and different set of numbers will go on the Z axis (discounting complex numbers)??? This question has been bugging me for some time today..... I have been tagged by Magaman. There are over six things in my post about myself; you have just got to find them. :P And I choose not to tag anyone.

Original Stories (update) and Other Stuff

Well, I just finnished one Spanish compisition and one paper for a political science class, but I have two more tests to go. I'm having to get the paper work done to get a passport (much fun) to go to Mexico (study abroad). I have worked on the plot for my original stories. I added two more supporting characters. They are fraternal twins who are sons of a top general. One of them is good friends with James. I also decided that I'm going to have to do a prequal about Thomas, too. Oh, working on my stories has basicily been put in suspended animation because of homework; I hope it get it out of that state soon. Hmm... I'm going to have to come up with a name for my stories soon. What should it be...?

Well, I decided to mostly give up fanfiction and start writing some original stories. Don't worry, James and Madelin will be there plus James' sister, Rachel. Their ages in the story has not been decided on yet. Rachel is a female android build by James' dad as an experiment. She doesn't have many fancy robot powers. Although, she may gain some in the future. I won't tell you any more about her; that will be a suprize. Hopefully, I will start on it soon. Most likey the stories will be uploaded on deviantArt.

Back at College

Well it is two weeks into the semester at my university and I'm doing fine now. The classes are intereseting. I'm thinking of taking a different approach to studying this semester: read the textbook material required for all of next week Saterday and/or Sunday before the university week starts. Also, study for the test a week ahead of time. I really hope this helps. I am so happy that I have a job intervew Monday (Jan. 30). It is a paper carrier job for the school newspaper. I'm hoping I get it. I'm still working on my fiction skills. I've created two characters for my stories, and I'm working a few more right now. I haven't decided they are going to be a part of a book or a cartoon series, yet (maybe both). If it is going to be a cartoon, I've 'bout decided to have it 3D or psuedo-3D animation. Stay tooned for updates. I'm also planning on joining a software poject on the internet (ReactOS) Because of some internal problems with that project I'm going to wait a week or too for it to settle down. One the plus side this waiting will alow me to get my study habbits down before I join it, and I have a Intermediate Spanish I test next week. On the other plus side, joining the project will help me work on my programing skills for my computer science class. I normaly don't talk about politics here but, from what I read and heard about Alito I can say he is a pretty good choice for the Supreme Court. To me, he understands the rule of law and the value of the Contitution. I hope he is confermed and that my judgement is right.

Merry Christmass and a Happy New Year!!! Acording to family tradition we open our presents on Christmas eve. Next semester is coming in a couple of weeks (Oh what fun.) I posted a pic on how Madelin looked when she was human. Now to do one of those servays that's been floating around deviantArt. Survay was "borrowed" from CoyoteLoon. -What is your character's name? James and Madelin. -What kind of character is it (furry, anime, etc)? Cartoon fan character. Both may become original characters. -What is the first thing your character would think of when he/she first wakes up? James: The universe has a sick and perverted sense of humor. Madelin: I became my own invention--how ironic. -Your character's favorite outfit would be? James likes mostly dark blue. Although, he does get tired of a little. Madelin is a shape shifting girl. 'Nough said? Okay, she can't really decide and ends up going to her default look after quite a few changes in apperance trying to make up her mind. -Does your character have the same tastes in food as you? I like Mexican and Southeastern U.S. foods. James drinks oil I don't. (He is a robot 'nough said.) Madelin eats scrap metal, other assorted junk, and rare stuff off of the periodic table. -How is your character similar to you? James is laid back and doesn't do anything durastic unless he's pushed into it. Madelin on the other hand has my bad attitude at times. -How is he/she different? James doesn't have a bad attitude, he's a follow the leader type of personality. He's also a superpowered robot with all those cool gizmos and do-dads built in. Madelin is a prankseter at heart. If she likes you she will pull pranks on you (non that will get you seriously hurt though). She is also a shapeshifting android (that goes with her ability to blend with her background) with the ability to interface with computers. She also uses a homebrew Linux dirstro as her O.S. -If you were to suddenly become your character, what do you think would be the first thing you would do as him/her? James: I would do some serious skydiving and do target practice in a junkyard. Also, kick some bad guy rear. Madelin: Use my abilities to pull pranks on people and scare them out of their wits and also kick some bad guy rear. Also wonder how I turned from a human male to a girl robot..... -Is there something about your character that you don't like how others think of them? Hum.... don't know. -What advantages does your character have over you? James: Superpowered robot that can fly. Madelin Shape shifting android that can hack into computers. -What disadvantages? James: Vunerable to hacking (but very resistant). Wonders if he's Frankenstien's Monster incarnate. Madelin: Living every day knowing that you might have turned yourself into a monster. -Do you have any secrets relating to your character that only you know?/Do you have any secret drawings only you know about? James: I originally thought of him as a cyborg then went to robot. I have a drawing that goes with that. Madelin: She's based on *coyoteloon's character Drew, but personalities are different. -Do you have any plans for your character or are you working on something big relating to him/her? Using them to learn how to write fiction. Hopefully I'll brake them awayfrom fanfics and write some original stories with then. They like each other..... -What misconception(s), if any, do people have about your character? James: Don't know yet...... Madelin:Can transform into almost anything. She can't make moving parts. She also does have some bugs in her software. -If you could have just ONE characteristic from your character, what would it be? James: Super powered robot with out his responibilities. Madelin: Made of millions of self adapting, self reparing nanobots. -Have you made any characters that go along with yours, based on real-life people, that have the same relationship with your character as you with the real-life person? Not really; however, they both have personality trates of my siblings and my self. -Have you written any stories about your character? James: Yes, two stories, both are in revision. Madelin: No, not yet, but hopefully. -How has your character changed since his/her first creation? Both haven't changes much, but will change eventually as I write. Madelin and James like each other, but some times can't stand each other.....

Guess what! I'm 21 now! :party: I'll be finished with this semester by Monday evening. Er. I could have done a better job on my grades.... Well, for all those that read my fanfics and FF.net, I have decided next week I'm goin to pull both of my stories and heavily revise them with more drama, action, and completely new scenes.

Well finals start for me tomarow! I'll be finnished doing thim by early next week. My regular computer monitor just gave out. I'm having to use a backup one that only supports a lower resolution than the one that gave out. BUMMER! I have just discovered a great vector graphics program Inkscape. Just a few minutes of fiddling with it and I am addicted to it. Best of all it is free to download!

Settling In

Well I'm settling in now. My first pay check for my job should be coming in next week. Also, next week I plan to take my CDL writen tests to get my permit. I have two tests to study for next week; both of which half of the grade is essay format. Also, I have a five page book report to turn in the 4th. I hope to start drawing art and writing fanfiction in my spare time, including but not limited to "Switched!". I've also started a programing project for a drawing program. I got a Job!

Cool, I got a job at my universities trasnit department to drive a bus. Yes, I'm being payed to get my CDL. Today was my first day on the clock. It was a lot of paper work and other hurdles to get the job, but I got it. I got a CDL packet and job policy packet, puss my regular studies to work on. Boy, am I going to be busy. It is part time and good pay (for a college student). Also, I've got chapter three of "Switched!" uploaded on FanFiction.net. (I go by the same pseudonym there as I do here.) I hope y'all like it. :D Oh, and it is a wopper: aproximently seven thousand words. Please, leave a review; expecialy contrutive criticism :D. The link for the story is here.

It is finnaly comming, the new chapter of "Switched." I know, I know, I've been saying it's been coming for, let's see, a month now? I sound like a scratched CD. It has almost 4 kilo-words in it and it now, and all it needs now is a bit more background information, and a few more scenes at the end. I'm expecting it, when finnished, to end up at about 4.5 to 5 kilo-words. I should have it uploaded sometime on the 5th of Sept. Lets just hope it gets finnished in time. :pray:

I said that I would upload another chapter of "Switched!" on Saterday. Well, I stuck my foot in my mouth again. Writers bock, laziness, and packing for college jinxed that. Oh, I have added references to "Escape from Cluster Prime" in my new chapter, and as far as it conserns all my fanfics happened after the Teen Bot special. I hope to have it upload soon but I don't know when. UPDATE: A chapter I co-writen with 'Kody Wright' at fanfiction.net is uploaded here. "Switched!" and College...

Well I've got approximently 2.8 K on my lastest chapter of "Switched!" written, and that is only about where I think the middle of the chapter would be! I wouldn't be suprised if this becomes the longest chapter I've written. It should be uploaded by Friday or Saterday (maybe latter to include refernces to "Excape from Cluster Prime"). Eh, I think I'm picking up coyoteloon's nack for verbose chapters... I was originally going to do five chapters for this fanfic, but no, I had to refine the plot. Now it is going to be six chapters long. What have I gotten myself into? Well, I'm going back to college in about a week. Yes, my head is going to be stuck in books--school books, so expect updates be sporadic. Also, I'm going to have to take Comp 3. *shudder* Edited to add: My sister, sabresedge has just joined deviantART! Questions or Comments?

I've done so many errends this week - it is ridiculous! Cool, thanks for every body that contributed to my 500+ page views at deviantArt! Well, I'm back from vacation. It was fun visiting with good friends of 12 years. :D Oh, note to self: don't eat stuff your allergic to. :/ I plan to revise my first fanfic, "XJ10, A Brother for Jenny" with more background infromation and new scenes before continuing on "Switched!". I hope that will clear up things a bit. Also, I plean to redisign my character, Madelin, with a 'better' look. In addition, I'll be going back to college in about a month. Well... I'm sorry for not getting my sequal for "XJ10: A Brother for Jenny" uploaded at fanfiction.net. ^^; Errands, chores, reading science fiction, and being lazy will do that to you. I will try to get the first chatper done soon as possible. ^^; About reading science fiction--I hope it will help me in my authoring skills. :) I've also downloaded OpenOffice, and so far I like it. :D It also has 3D drawing capiblilities! In addition, you can import/export BMP, GIF, JPEG, PNG, and etc. graphics files! Moreover, it includes spellcheking capiblilities! It is approximately 64 MB download, but it is well worth it. Also, it will expand to over 100 MB when you install it. And best of all it is FREE! Here is the link for OpenOffice -> www.openoffice.org

The semester is OVER! GONE! DONE WITH! :party: :party: All I have to do is pack up my things and and check out of my dormroom, and drive several hours to my parents' house. I've been 'jaw-ing' about a sequal for my fanfic "XJ10: A Brother for Jenny" which is uploaded on fanfiction.net. Well, as I've already said, it is "Switched" which the first chapter should be uploaded in one or two weeks! Also, I plan to do some Teen Bot fanart too which will be uploaded to crashfourit.deviantart.com. By the way, I've changed my avatar on my deviantArt page; what to you think? I've had problems trying to upload it at my deviantArt page, but it seams people at deviantArt got that fixed. :D

Dead Day

Dead Day? That day where my college I goto has no finals and no classes (and it is not on the weekend). Personaly, I think it should be called "Cram-Fest Day". Well, Environmental Geology + Lab was fun; I even got to take a field trip to a sewer treatment plant. Ewww. This may sound strage... but I actualy liked Survey of Calculus. Intro to Philosophy--I am more confused coming out of that class than comming in. Elementry Spanish I--Er, I needed to practice more. Public Personnel Management--That was *pause* interesting... Well, Since summer break is comming fast, I'm hoping I will upload some fanfiction (the first of which will be "Switched") which should be about one to two weeks from now; so stay tune! The Spring semester at my college is ending soon, hurray! Well, I've had enough of the 'grinding mill' sort-of-speak. I am ready for Summer Break!! Taxes, Papers, Tests

Mood: Procratinator, Anoyed, Confused April 15 is comming; anybody lives in the U.S. knows that is tax day. Does anybody hate Tax Returns? Confused by them?I just wish them go away! *psychotic* Maybe a Flat Tax or FairTax ([link]) would be a good alternative.... I don't particularly like essay tests and papers, but... I can understand why they're needed. Oh, what a mess we get ourselfs into when we procrastinate. As you know missery loves company, so do share (please).

Kim Possible in "So the Drama"

I've watched the "Kim Possible: So the Drama" movie, and I've got to say it is one of the better productions that Disney has made. The camera movements were really cool, smooth, and clean. I really liked the new tool that Kim gets at the end of the Movie (watch it to find out...). Also, the Movie had a computerized retro, pseudo 3D look to it. In addition the action and plot were great - you almost think Dr. Draken is going to win. I think they out did themself this time (in my opinion). Recomendation: watch it. I've noticed two things that sound familiar: The 'cybertronic' technology, 'living metal', which can grow, do self-repair, and only can be operational by a command signal; and the new tool the Kim gets in the Movie can also do self-repair. Those who read CoyoteLoon's stories (http://www.fanfiction.net/u/475788/) would find this familiar (I.E. Drew). Interesting, eh?

Sequals and More!

March 5: Well, after some good reviews for my fanfiction. I'm already working on a (few) sequal(s), and hopefuly they will be a bit more verbose than my first story. Oh, after a few stories there *may* be a Trilogy involving Baltlestar Galactica (2003), the Cluster, and Jenny and her gang. Shounds interesting, eh?(As always "Battlestar Galactica" (2003) and MLaaTR are owned by their respective parties, not me.) March 6: Well I've just found out that I have a 5-7 page paper due next week. Bummer! So don't expect any strories or art. This just might be extended till the end of the month with finals and all that.

One of my favorite hobbies is reading fanfiction. Well, I would have to say that I'm addicted to it (maybe too much). How much are you addicted to fanfiction? Please share. Well, I'll be working on the final chapter of my Teen-Bot story at fanfiction.net. Allso, I've been thinking of doing a crossover with Battlestar Galactica (2003) in one of the sequals. Spring break, FanFiction, and Fan-Art

Well, I have uploaded some Teen-Bot fanfiction on fanfiction.net. It is about an OC that gets into a car wreck that changes his life, seriously. Hopefully I will complete the strory by the end of this week. Also, there may be some sequels and crossovers in the works. Also, I wil TRY to draw some Teen-Bot fan-art, starting with Jenny (will be uploaded to crashfourit.deviantart.com). I've just finished spring break, and I've had enough of it! College Life

Well, finnaly settling to the 'college grove', and hope I can make some good grades this semester. I can wait for the next chapter of 'CoyoteLoon's (http://www.fanfiction.net/u/475788/) fanfiction. I'm hoping to get some workstudy this semester, and can't wait for the new episodes of "My Life as a Teenage Robot" to be aired on Nick'.
